12. VIP scheduling
VIP sessions are arranged manually through email or WhatsApp.
The programme is designed so that:
Sessions one to five take place approximately weekly.
Session six normally takes place approximately two weeks after Session five.
All six sessions are normally completed within 12 weeks of payment.
Some Workbook sections may be combined when appropriate.
If illness, an emergency or another genuine difficulty prevents completion within 12 weeks, contact us before the end of the period so a reasonable revised schedule can be agreed.
13. Customer rescheduling
You may rearrange a VIP session without losing it by giving at least 24 hours’ notice.
Contact us through email or WhatsApp and provide:
Your name
The affected session date and time
A request for a replacement appointment
If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, the session may count as used.
A missed session without notice may also count as used.
Genuine emergencies will be considered reasonably and individually.
If you arrive late, the appointment will normally finish at its original scheduled time.
14. Build Affluence rescheduling
If we need to rearrange a session:
It will not count as used.
We will offer a replacement appointment.
You will not be charged an additional amount.
If we become unable to provide an unused session within a reasonable period, you may request a proportionate refund for that session.
15. The Thursday Weekly Clinic
The Weekly Clinic is currently held on Thursdays at 6:30 pm for approximately 45 minutes.
DIY and VIP customers may attend while the Clinic continues to operate.
The Clinic provides:
General education
Answers to general questions
Workbook implementation support
Shared accountability
It does not provide:
Private financial reviews
Detailed reviews of personal statements
Individual investment recommendations
Emergency assistance
Regulated financial advice
The Clinic’s timing, format or platform may change with reasonable notice.
Clinic access is not promised as a permanent lifetime service. If a material change affects support during your active programme, we will act reasonably and consider an appropriate alternative.
16. Clinic recordings
We may record the host-led teaching section of a Clinic.
Customer questions and discussions will not normally be recorded.
If a recording could identify a customer, we will obtain separate permission before using it publicly.
Customers must not record Clinic sessions or private coaching sessions without the permission of everyone involved.
17. WhatsApp community rules
Community members must:
Treat others respectfully.
Keep other customers’ contributions private.
Avoid sharing passwords, account numbers and unredacted statements.
Avoid presenting personal opinions as professional advice.
Avoid advertising or unsolicited promotion.
Avoid illegal, discriminatory, threatening or abusive content.
Follow reasonable moderator instructions.
Information shared by other community members is their own opinion and is not automatically endorsed by Build Affluence.
Although members are required to respect confidentiality, we cannot guarantee that another participant will comply. Do not post information you would not be comfortable sharing with the group.
We may remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers or operate the community.
Except in serious cases, we will normally explain the concern and provide a reasonable opportunity to correct the behaviour.
Removal from the community does not affect your statutory rights.
18. Progress and service messages
We may send messages needed to deliver your purchase, including:
Delivery confirmation
Workbook progress check-ins
Appointment information
Clinic information
Service changes
Responses to your questions
These are service messages rather than general advertising.
Marketing messages are handled separately. You may opt out of marketing at any time without losing access to purchased services.
19. Third-party services
We may use third-party services to operate Build Affluence, including:
Stripe for payments
Google services for email, files and calendar appointments
WhatsApp for communication and community access
Zoom or Google Meet for online sessions
Website hosting, analytics and security providers
Cloud storage and business administration providers
Those services may have their own terms and privacy notices.
We are not responsible for a third-party service being temporarily unavailable where that is outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to provide an alternative when the interruption materially affects a purchased service.
You are responsible for complying with the terms of platforms you choose to use.
20. No guaranteed outcome
Financial outcomes depend on matters outside our control, including:
Your income
Your spending
Your debts
Your financial behaviour
Market performance
Interest rates
Tax rules
Employment
Personal circumstances
Whether agreed actions are completed
We do not guarantee a particular financial result, investment return, debt repayment date or improvement in financial wellbeing.
This does not reduce our responsibility to provide the purchased service with reasonable care and skill.
21. Statutory cancellation rights
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
When purchasing online, you will normally have 14 days to cancel, beginning on the day after the contract is made.
To cancel, send a clear written request to:
Email: hello@buildaffluence.com
WhatsApp: +44 7347 431 092
Include:
Your name
The email address used to purchase
A clear statement that you wish to cancel
You do not need to give a reason.
We will confirm receipt in writing. Any refund legally due will normally be returned to the original payment method within 14 days.
22. Immediate delivery of DIY materials
DIY contains digital content intended for immediate delivery.
Before immediate delivery begins, you will be asked to:
Expressly request delivery during the 14-day cancellation period.
Confirm that you understand your right to cancel the digital content will be lost once delivery or access begins.
If you do not provide this consent, delivery may be delayed until the cancellation period has ended.
Your rights remain unaffected if the digital materials are faulty, unavailable or materially different from their description.
23. Starting VIP within 14 days
You may request that VIP materials or coaching begin before the 14-day cancellation period has ended.
If coaching begins following your express request and you later cancel during the cancellation period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for services already supplied.
If the coaching service is fully performed during the cancellation period following your express request and acknowledgment, your right to cancel that completed service will end when it has been fully performed.
24. Ending VIP after the cancellation period
After the statutory cancellation period, you may ask to end the private coaching programme.
Unless another legal right applies, any voluntary refund will be calculated reasonably and proportionately according to the private sessions remaining.
A session will not be treated as unused where it:
Has already taken place
Was missed without notice
Was cancelled late and reasonably treated as used under these terms
Access already supplied to the Workbook, Guide, community or Clinic will not create an undisclosed refund deduction.
25. Faulty digital content or poor service
Your statutory rights apply to our digital content and services.
Digital content must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for its stated purpose.
Services must be supplied with reasonable care and skill.
If something is wrong, contact us so we have a reasonable opportunity to:
Replace or repair faulty digital content
Repeat or correct an inadequately delivered service
Provide an appropriate price reduction or refund where required
26. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary because:
A customer seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms.
Payment is reversed or obtained fraudulently.
A customer threatens or abuses another person.
Continuing the service would create a legal, safety or professional-boundary concern.
A platform or service is being misused.
Where appropriate, we will explain the concern and allow a reasonable opportunity to correct it.
If we end a service for reasons that are not the customer’s fault, we will provide an appropriate alternative or proportionate refund for any material paid service not supplied.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
27. Confidentiality
We treat information shared privately during coaching as confidential.
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary:
With your permission
To operate the service through contracted providers
To comply with law, a court order or regulatory requirement
To obtain confidential professional advice
To prevent or respond to suspected fraud or crime
Where we reasonably believe there is an immediate risk of serious harm
We do not promise the same level of confidentiality for information voluntarily posted in a group environment.
28. Our responsibility
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that:
Were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed
Result from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you
Result from financial decisions made without following appropriate specialist advice
Result from your failure to protect passwords or account information
Relate to business or commercial use when the product was purchased as a consumer service
Are caused entirely by events outside our reasonable control and could not reasonably have been avoided
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for:
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Breaching statutory consumer rights
Digital content or services that do not meet legal standards
29. Events outside reasonable control
Neither party will be treated as having breached these terms where performance is delayed by an event genuinely outside their reasonable control.
Examples may include:
Serious illness
Widespread technology failure
Internet or power failure
Natural disaster
Government restriction
Industrial action
Failure of an essential third-party platform
The affected party should communicate promptly and take reasonable steps to reduce disruption.
If a material service cannot be provided for an extended period, you may end the affected part and receive an appropriate refund for any material paid service not supplied.
30. Complaints
If you are unhappy with a product or service, contact:
Email: hello@buildaffluence.com
WhatsApp: +44 7347 431 092
Please include:
Your name
The product or service purchased
What happened
The outcome you are seeking
We will normally acknowledge a complaint within five business days and aim to provide a substantive response within 20 business days.
Nothing in this process prevents you from using your legal rights or seeking independent advice.
31. Changes to products or services
We may make reasonable changes to improve security, usability, legal compliance or delivery.
We will not materially reduce the core product or service already purchased without:
Giving reasonable notice where possible
Providing a reasonable alternative
Offering an appropriate remedy where the change materially disadvantages you
32. Changes to these terms
The version accepted at the time of purchase applies to that purchase.
We may update these terms for future purchases.
A later change will not remove rights already acquired under an existing contract unless the change is legally required or expressly agreed.
33. Transferring rights
You may not transfer your personal licence or VIP package to another household without written agreement.
We may use employees, coaches or contractors to help deliver the service. We remain responsible for ensuring that contracted services are delivered appropriately.
We will not transfer the contract in a way that materially reduces your rights without reasonable notice.
34. If part of these terms is invalid
If a court decides that part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
Any invalid provision will be interpreted or adjusted only as far as reasonably necessary to make it lawful and fair.
35. No waiver
If either party delays enforcing a right, that does not automatically mean the right has been waived.
36. Rights of other people
These terms are between you and Build Affluence.
Except where the law provides otherwise, another person does not have the right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
37. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a UK consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts applying where you live.
Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory rights you have under the laws applying to you.
